Pope Francis - In D.C.

The Pope did not forget us!

I watched and was hanging on his every word. We don't need to be Catholic to see Pope Francis as one of the world's great spiritual leaders, reformers and advocates.

This was not necessarily directed at the disability community but includes us.

Pope Francis offered compassionately and eloquently the following to all of us, in Washington, DC. today;

" Together with our fellow citizens, American Catholics are committed to building a society, which is totally tolerant and inclusive, to safeguarding the rights of individuals and communities and to rejecting every form of injustice and discrimination."

The following are other quotes by Pope Francis that he calls us to live by as we serve the least of the least in our community - our children with disabilities.
